(More customer reviews)INSTALLATION: All you have to do, to attach the spout to the can, is line up the threads and rotate clockwise, until you have clicked into the child safety feature. To make sure the seal is as tight as possible, I like to tighten it to the very last click on the spout.
Though, it seems to make a good tight seal onto the can, when in operation, I find it leaks, just above the spout cap.
OPERATION: The Enviro-Flo spout, has a "Store" & "Pour" mode. When in "Store" mode, it is not supposed to leak, but as I said, it will. To operate, all you have to do, is move the switch on the left side of the spout, down to "Pour.' Once you have done that, you have to press down on the back end of the spout to release the fuel flow. To stop the flow, all you have to do is release your thumb, and it will automatically shut off. It has a nice 2.5-gallon per minute flow rate, which I like.
MY EXPERIENCE: My experience with the Enviro-Flo spout, leaves much to be desired. Though, I do like the ease of use, and the child safety features. However, the can seal in the cap, is inadequate, and thus, spills gasoline.
CONCLUSION: In my opinion, Blitz needs to go back to the drawing board. The only reason I am giving this product 2-stars, is because the product does work, its just, it does not seal properly, allowing the spilling of gas. I think Blitz has a good product here, they just need to improve the sealing issue.
